Here are Friday's Sentinel police reports:
Carlisle police (243-5252)
• Police are looking for a thin black woman with dyed orange hair who stole cash from a vehicle parked outside a strip mall complex in the 200 block of South Spring Garden Street at 1 p.m. June 22.
A store employee saw the woman take about $4 cash from a cupholder in the vehicle. She had been in the store just before.
The vehicle's owner told police it had been parked outside the complex for about 15 minutes with the windows down.
The employee said the woman was wearing a white shirt, yellow shorts and had solid white nail polish.
In surveillance footage, the woman can be seen leaving the area in a dark gray Jeep Grand Cherokee with what appeared to be a white license plate on the front.
• A vehicle traveling west in the 300 block of West North Street around 11:08 p.m. June 22 crossed the road and hit a parked vehicle head on.
Both vehicles sustained severe damage.
Police believe alcohol was involved and have a suspect in custody.
• A 14-year-old boy was charged with theft after police said he rode off on another child's bicycle in the 300 block of North Pitt Street around 2:45 p.m. June 22.
The Mongoose BMX-style bike belonged to a 9-year-old boy and was later found at the Carlisle Community Pool and returned to him.
The 14-year-old will be charged through Juvenile Probation.
• Three large pots valued at $75 each used to hold flowers from a home in the 1100 block of Franklin Street between June 20 and 22.
One of the pots is a large black kettle and the other two are large white ceramic crocks.
State police at Carlisle (249-2121)
• Phillip K. Nichols, 25, of Duncannon was charged with failing to drive on roadways laned for traffic after his 2008 Honda Civic crashed on Richland Road at 9:30 a.m. June 13.
Police said Nichols was distracted while driving east on Richland Drive and the Civic went off the road and hit a culvert with its undercarriage. It went about 20 feet before stopping due to the disabling damage.
Nichols was not injured.
• Justine Patricia Chapman, 21, of Newville was cited with trespassing after police said she was found on a property on Big Spring Terrace in West Pennsboro Township.
Chapman previously received a notice to not step foot on the property.
