Police search for armed robber on Muncie's south side
Police scanner traffic indicates the victim met the bandit at Ernie's to exchange money for a jeep. The robber reportedly showed a revolver and took the money from the victim and took off running on foot towards 23rd and Gharkey streets.The robber was described as a Hispanic male, 6-foot, 180 pounds. He has one gold tooth and was wearing a black long-sleeved shirt and long, shiny and dark jean shorts, possibly with a design on his back pocket.
Police are also looking for a burgundy-colored Lincoln vehicle that dropped off the bandit at the scene of the robbery.
Officers have a possible suspect a 26-year-old Muncie man scanner traffic indicates.
