Florida-Casey-Anthony-Trial

The meter reader who found Caylee Anthony's remains in December of 2008 is testifying at Casey Anthony's murder trial. The defense is trying to prove Roy Kronk actually discovered the remains months earlier. Also, Casey Anthony's father, George Anthony, denied he had an affair with a volunteer searcher and told her that his granddaughter's death was "an accident that snowballed out of control."

Nebraska-Nuclear-Plant-Flood

The manager of a nuclear plant in Nebraska that's surrounded by floodwaters says there will not be a meltdown like the one in Japan. Tim Nellenbach says the situation at the Fort Calhoun plant is under control, and he says it's frustrating dealing with the rumors.

Senate-Libya-War-Powers

A key State Department official says the War Powers Resolution does not apply to Libya. Harold Koh testified at a Senate hearing Tuesday. Republican Richard Lugar says the president's decision was a fundamental failure of leadership.

Greece-Strike

Riot police tossed tear gas at protesters in Athens, Greece Tuesday. One protester and three police officers were slightly hurt. Thousands of people marched to protest measures aimed at ending Greece's debt crisis.

Home-Prices

Home prices are finally up after an eight month losing streak, according to the latest S&P/Case Shiller 20 city index. Standard and Poors spokesman David Blitzer says it's a step in the right direction. Home prices were up 0.7% in April.

The findings suggest the tech industry recovery is at length swing - R&D and operational expenses are returning to pre-recession levels, and hiring and salary levels are as well bouncing back.
